Café Pilates

Coffee and a Pilates studio, in the same building on Highway 117

They describe themselves in three words, and the three words are the whole idea: coffee and Pilates. A drive-thru window on one side, a studio on the other, and a reason to use both in the same morning.

The window opened on 3 August 2026 and serves from seven. The studio came in September.

The window

Lattes, cold brew, matcha, fresh pressed juices, breakfast and acai bowls. Seven until three most days, and until five on Friday and Saturday.

Three have names worth learning before you get to the window.

  • Salted Caramel Maple Latte
  • Banana Creme Cold Brew
  • Strawberry Cloud Matcha

What is on this week goes on their Facebook page before it goes anywhere else. There is also a cap.

If you are driving up to DeSoto Falls first thing, seven is early enough to get you there ahead of the crowds, and the drive-thru means nobody has to be got out of the car to make it happen.

The studio

Pilates and yoga, in a room of pine and concrete with the light coming in off the trees. Their own description of it is better than anything we would write: classes for every body and every level, from beginner to more advanced movement, in a space to move, recharge, and make time for yourself.

Three instructors teach here. Kandis Lawton and Mary-L. Bevington take Pilates, and Jamie Baugh takes both Pilates and yoga. It is women-owned, and the studio welcomes families and older beginners rather than just saying so.

Class times and booking

The order of the morning

Move first. Then, in their words, grab a coffee or matcha from the café on your way out.

That is the part worth understanding about this place. It is not a coffee shop that happens to have a studio, or a studio that happens to sell coffee. It is one building arranged in the order people actually use it.

Sitting in

If you are not in a hurry there are shelves of books, a sofa and somewhere to put a cup down. It is the kind of room people end up staying in longer than they meant to.

Good to know

  • Open at seven every day of the week, which almost nothing else in Mentone is.
  • There is parking, and there is a drive-thru, so you can do either.
  • Sunday is the short day. It closes at two.
  • Book classes through Mindbody. Call the shop if you would rather ask a person.
